Dinner and then depending on tide timings we will depart during the night or early morning upstream. We sail past the city of Kolkata and its iconic bridges.

After breakfast visit the erstwhile French colony Chandernagore for a walk along the Promenade to see the French heritage monuments and enjoy the local ambience. Later we sail to Bansberia enjoying lunch on board. Late afternoon short walk to visit the Hangeshwari Temple, a fine example of Bengali architecture..

Morning enjoying breakfast on board, we sail to Bandel, which was founded by the Portuguese.. Visit the Hooghly Imambara and then lunch on board. Late afternoon we reach Serampore, an erstwhile Danish colony and then walk in the old quarters to see the Danish Tavern, St. Olav’s Church and other colonial buildings.
